The design of hospital is unique to save energy by utilising daylight through huge windows. It's clean, beautiful and world class. Medical tourism is a growing sector in India. Price advantage is, of course, a major selling point. It is like "First World treatment' at Third World prices". Global Hospital, Mount Abu is one of the hub of medical tourism in India.

The cost differential across the board is huge: only a tenth and sometimes even a sixteenth of the cost in the West. Dental, eye and cosmetic surgeries in Western countries cost three to four times as much as in India.

Built to take advantage of a beautiful, clean and quiet mountain top setting, this 102-bed hospital is a heaven of peace in an area where there is an acute shortage of health care. Its work is based on the philosophy that lasting solutions to health problems require healing of mind, body and spirit.

Most patients receive the hospital’s services free of charge. While a good percentage of staff works here voluntarily. Free guided tours are available for all visitors during day time. A must see attraction in mount abu.
